Happy Saint Patrick’s Day

In celebration of Saint Patrick’s Day, I decided to share my favorite (and really only) rhetorical device I’ve written about a leprechaun’s home.  This is from Book of Secrets set in my Merged world.  It’s just a line, but it stuck with me because of the Zeugma. A zeugma has the last item is out of sync with the others.

Despite its name, Rainbow borough was green. The streets, the houses, the dead bodies.
