I don’t like resolutions on new year’s day.
It feels like I am telling the universe that the only possible time I can make a change is on some significant day. Like the beginning of the year or beginning of a month or a birthday.
I believe that each day you can work to change your life. That it is never too late to be the person you want to be.
I know that as we get older it gets harder to change. I have a quote somewhere about habits turning into chains over time.
Last year, I started a walking and workout habit. I have a writing/editing habit. What I need is a better eating choice habit.
So now that it is after new years on some random day, I am going to add an extra healthy item each day.
