I always enjoy your humorous Focus Fox, but this one almost had me spitting out the spoonful of yogurt I had just put in my mouth! Thank you. This is going in character folder. I have to have someone say this and soon! I hope you don’t mind. I still am not writing fast enough to get anywhere with my short story collection.
Hi quirkywritingcorner, I don’t mind at all. Use away! 🙂 It would be fun to hear the context and how others respond. 🙂 Sorry to hear that the short story collection is going slowly. I understand, there are only so many hours in the day. I hope you are able to complete the collection. 🙂
I’d like to say I’m slow because I’m busy doing important things. My problem is I’m spending too much time on Facebook, Quora, and emails than doing any writing. I keep the story in my dock, hoping for inspiration. I pull it up and stare at it, only to race off with the next beep of an email alert.
Yes! We had a ‘No’ challenge from a class I took. For me it was ‘no’ to classes. 😉 Then when I finally got my new phone, I didn’t download any of the social media apps and turned off all of the noise notifications on everything else. It seems to have helped. I managed to finish a suspense novella and am halfway through an epic fantasy. Want to join the ‘No’ challenge?
